Fish Roe

Just curious. Does anyone else eat the roe from speckled trout? I love it rolled in cornmeal and fried or battered and fried. Everyone thinks I am nuts.

My wife's family eats fish eggs prepared like you described. They use freshwater fish, crappie usually. I tried it once and didn't care for it too much.
