tree stump removal

Anybody have a good way to remove a tree stump that is about 24" to 36" across. I have old ash I had to cut down before the storm cause I was scared of it going through my house and now I have a stump that is almost level with the ground. But it is start to bud again and I need to remove it.

The only problem with grinding it is my telephone line and main power line to the house run somewhere close to this stump and I dont want to hit anything.

If you call the respective companies, they will come out and mark the lines...free of charge because it saves them money in the long run.


Grinding is the fastest, easiest way to do it, IMO.
