A $158M global supplier of drilling and production products that services energy and mining industries in Grand Prairie, TX. wants to hire an Engineering Manager. Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) preferred, MUST be knowledgeable in art of design and testing of Measurement While Drilling tools for the Down Hole Oil & Gas Industry. At least 5 years of experience designing MWD or LWD tools. Must be able to design mechanical and electrical components pertaining to the Down Hole MWD tools. Design for High Pressure, High Temperature and High Vibration environments. Must be able to read and interpret Mechanical and Electrical schematics, blueprints and 3d components. Will manage engineers, coordinate outside consultants and contractors. Manage the Supervisors of Production, Test and Calibration groups. Pay range $85,000-$120,000 (no bonus 1st year).
