Don't be wasteful?

Well now that hunting season is over we took off about 30 deer on the ranch.the idea came to myself and sons to start keeping the hearts and livers out of the deer and start using for catfish bait, took them to the lake and will start trying when we start jugging, don't know how will turn out but does feel good not to be wasteful of what we have.

Raysor I keep a deer and pig heart to try also.Where is your ranch you have posted some nice deer pics?Did you get your boat replaced after Ike?

Ranch is located out of Batesville Tx, I bought a hurricane deck boat, 23ft with a center console with two captains chairs behind console with a 200 hp suzuki 4 stroke, thought it would serve a better purpose on the lake rather than my Parker Big Bay, Especially since Ike broke it in half and took off everything that resembled a boat, LOL

Another thing you can do with all the blood bearing organs (heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas, etc.) is save them for your local wildlife rehab group. Any raptors they have in love those parts for food.
