Fished Somerville with a 25 mph, gusting to 30+ wind, on Monday with LAZYA8838, Calvin Arnold and his friend Bobby, from Dayton. Winds would cause large waves to come over the side of the boat when anchored, poor Billy was on the wet end of the boat. The bite was very light, and with the wind hard to detect sometimes. Most fish caught in 3 foot water on Sureshot Punch bait. They managed to take 28 fish home for the fryer and that many fish on a bad day is a good thing. I called both by the wrong name all day, and blamed that on the wind too, ha ha. Way to go Calvin and Bobby

WTG, It takes a good guide to make a day under those conditions and still catch fish.

Good catch of fish!!! It makes it real tough to feel'm with all that wind. We went out Sunday evening and managed to catch 13, but, they were quality fish, most 3 pounds and better with the best one a little over 6. The fish were really biting soft until after dark. It seemed they were just sucking the bait off the hook??? Time to order more Sureshot!!!
