Went out to Lake Houston, man it felt good to be back on the water, any way, I set out a line and baited it and let it soak for an hour and got three nice blues, this one being the best, about 8 lbs. Looks like a start to a good catfish year. Why can't I ever catch one like this on rod in reel on lake houston.

Nice fish!!! I too like fresh cut bait. And for me, the fresher the better.

That the attitude Salty don't give up...R/R cats will come. What were you using for bait when you got this one? how deep? Now use that same approach when using RR and action may change. Grandpa made me chew that thought years ago.
