Put in at Gou Hole yesterday morning and ended the day with 30 blues. Most in the one and a half to four pound range. It was a beautiful day on the water.

Fishing Long Island Bayou or Reds or a secret spot? I fish that area a lot.

I remember fishing that area from the early 70's-mid 80's and the secret spot would change with the tide.I can say we did catch alot of fish in the last bend before the Old Delhoume PLACE.iF YOU COULD GET FRESH DUCK HEARTS you could tear em up.Fishing Long Island Bayou or Reds or a secret spot? I fish that area a lot.

Fishing the reds bayou area. I have also caught a lot of cats in the long Island area in the winter. No secret spot, just hunt till you find them and then hang on.

Yep, I typically fish the deeper areas on the outer sides of a bend in the bayou or cut. I also use my fish finder to help find fish bunched up together and find shad.
