Hey ss didn't make it to the lake. But I helt my own near there. I was on the water this morning when I looked up and was wandering why them clouds were dark. In about five minutes I almost froze. Anyway We had a good time ended up with 65 for the weekend. I'm having a fish fry for my graduation from nursing school.

Congratulations on the completion of nursing school Dwight and on a sucessful week-end of catfishing. Looks like you got in them pretty good. Won't be long and we'll have a dent put in the catfish population in Lake Livingston.

Good job dwight, there are some really nice blues in there. I am glad you had such good luck, and didn't listen to my advice, lol. Catch them on shad under a cork, or off the bottom?
Graduation fron nursing school is quite an accomplishment, conrgatulations. Maving put my ex through nursing school when we were married and looking over the material she studied, I always thought better her than me, that stuff was hard. You have a leg up on the fish fry for sure.

Carolina rigged with cut shad. (mostly gizzard shad). On bottom. If one pole went off i would real the other lines in and throw them all in that area.
That helped when the bite got a little slow.

Congrats on nursing school. Wife graduated last year. She worked in TLEM. stayed stressed 24/7. Now she is going to home health and setting her own hrs.

nice catch Dwight...that grin says it all good time out on the water (even after almost freezing-good fishermen don't run/hide...they cast out another). How deep you fishing with that cold weather hanging around? Looking for places to take neice/nephews this summer when they come.
