My ole partner in crime from DeSoto, TX, Robert Vagabond Varnell joined me today for our regular Christmas gig. I tried to tell him that Janice couldn't go but he insisted, I said OK but you will be sorry. As always I was right. We released all the fish below and kept three smaller ones to eat.

I brung up the rear with this 18.5.

Vagabond pulls in a 33.5

and shortly thereafter this 25

Janice hung into this 40.5 and needed help displaying it.

Jackieblue, do you have a pretty good idea of how much a blue of a certain length weighs? Once they get real big it is hard for me to judge. It seems that they are like redfish in that two of the same length might be of very different weights. Seeing how you catch enough of those really big ones you probably have a good idea. A better question might be, how long is that 40lber?
