12/20 Mr Garry Miller and his father Robert of Smithville, TX joined me today for an excellent outing. Mr. Robert Miller took big fish honors with a 43# blue. All fish caught on rod&reel using cut shad.

In the last three years, clients or I have landed eight state record fish and ten water body records.
We currently still hold ten records.903-603-3793

Cedar Creek, a 35,000 acre lake is located about an hour South east of Dallas, an hour east of Corsicana, twenty minutes west of Athens.

Guys, If there is anyway posible that you can go on a trip with Jackie you need to head up to Cedar Creek and go. He is the nicest guy you will ever meet and his knowledge on fishing will amaze you. We only had lines in the water for 5 hours (our choice) Jackie was ready to fish longer, and we caught and released 5 fish that weighed over 160 pounds. We also caught some smaller skillet fish. We learned alot, so those Livingston Blues had better watch out, we are going to be hard after them in January and February. Loy if we are able to do the same at Livingston I will be giving you a call.

Those are awesome trophy blues, and I have been waiting for JB to show us some cool hog blues now that the weather is cold. He does it every year, makes me drool, lol. How long is that big girl?
I have found some of those monsters on Livingston and have hooked up only to lose them on logs and such. It is always in the river channel or the side of it so they have a lot places to mess you up. Then I just don't keep after it and go for the box fish. I am older and have more patience now.
Now that you have some tips from the trophy man on how to capture those big boys I am ready TexasGG.
I will be back in Livingston around the first of the year, helping my dad out now here in Whitney he just had surgery.
