We represent a $14B organization with 17,000 employees that finds not only gas but also oil all over the world. In additional to conducting E&P operations, it is involved in downstream operations of liquefied natural gas (LNG) production. It is also a top LNG importer to the US market. We want to hire a Marine Terminal Manager to support the Americas and Global LNG Region. This role is responsible for maintaining a proactive Marine Operations relationship with all marine terminals and ports where there are dedicated supply or discharge rights in order to achieve safe and economic marine operations. This position will be located in Houston, TX but regular international travel and frequent domestic travel will be required. Incumbent will work with internal and external contacts including: Marine Operations personnel, S&O LNG terminals, LNG Carriers (Bareboat Charted, Time Chartered and Ex Ship), Agents, Port Authorities, Pilots and Towage companies. This role reports to the VP Marine Operations and has no direct reports at present. Maritime or related degree required, or equivalent Achievement of Captain or Chief Engineer license is preferred. Sufficient experience in LNG shipping and port management and significant experience in Marine Terminal shipping activities.
