Nice bunch of cats. I bet it was cold on the water this morning. Planned on going to Conroe myself but the boss had other plans.
Way to go DB.

That's a good mess of fish Dbullard. Glad you braved the elements. It sure paid off in a good way. Some of them look like they are pretty good size. I bet it was fun on rod and reel.
Take it easy this week and don't work too hard. looks like I may be making a batch of sausage in the morning. I just cut up 30 pounds of pork butts and 20 pounds of deer meat. The smokehouse is in standby mode, ready to be fired up.

I'm making 25 pounds of Bohemian(Garlic) sausage and 25 pounds of Polish Sausage. Both are going to be smoked most of the day at around 180 degrees. And yes, it will be good, I promise.

I see an ole gasper gou there that was big enough to put up a good fight. A couple of nice big blues too, I bet that warmed you up quick. I'm still trying to cope with cold weather, these first real cold fronts put me out of action for a while. By the time I'm through hunting, and flounder fishing it will time to head up White Rock Creek for whites and blues. Dbullard how deep are you getting shad?

Shad are plentiful on the flats in less than 10ft early morning . I see an ole gasper gou there that was big enough to put up a good fight. Thanks, I am starting to thaw out some and might go fish in the morning and try some floating jugs with shad.
