Back in the 70's, my older brother called a joint a fattie, But since we are on a fishing website I am going to go with a fish that has a large girth for its size. AKA sow trout.

a fattie could be a big fish of any type (Fish on!... it's a fattie)

or it could be a breakfast sausage stuffed thing (looks tasty)

or it could be that large person (He's a fattie)

or, just a big fattie (see fangard)

H#ll, I'm a little large side and might even be called a fattie. But seriously it's a chub of breakfast sausage flattened out stuffed with your favorite ingredients rolled back up, put on a smoker and cooked till the internal temp is up to a 165 degrees. Pull it off let it set for a little bit the slice and enjoy.
