Just wanted to throw a report of some action in the bay.started out at the north jetty by the barge at the end.My party wanted to catch a bull red and let me tell you they got what they wanted.We must have caught and released couple dozen or so before they wanted to actually go somewhere else and fish for different species.Being fall,I figured since we caught a few finger mullet in the cast net maybe we'd try our luck for flounder.Ventured inshore around the concrete ship,pelican cut area and caught 7 flounder and several more bull reds.caught most of the flounder on the saltwater assassin blurp in electric chicken color.piggies did offer constant action to keep us paying attention.Got most of the reds all day on finger mullet and chunks of whiting frozen from earlier in the season.Lost a real nice flounder at the boat.Most that we caught came from inside the cut on the south bank on causeway side.Lots of males still so think the run is starting.Wish every day was as productive as today! fins-up!!!!!!!
