I did some research on electric smokers a while back. The Bradley failed due to the brisket feed system breaking. You have to use their brickets and that I don't like.
The Cook Shack turned out to be my choice of electric smokers. A friend of mine has the small one and loves it. He has cooked on big pits all his life and is flat amazed with the Cook Shack smoker. I ate brisket, chiken and ribs that had been cooked on it and you couldn't tell the difference.

that thing is pretty darn cool , i'm all for setting a timer and walking away, a bonus might be making some killer jerkey........wish i weren't sitting on 4 grills already

I have a cookshack 055, it is the cats meow.

it is set it and forget it if you have a remote or know about how long you are going to cook. cookshack is expensive but worth it. one thing you prob don't want to get is an electric smoker where you will have to by pucks or bisquits or whatever for smoke. the cookshack has a 2" or so wide tray to put chunks, chips, whatever in. right off the bat you can cook as good as any of the local joints. they have a website that has a really helpful forum also. can also cold smoke cheese, etc.

I bought a Bradley digital smoker and tried to have some less storage and simplicity of smoking and that I got, other than the food always is tough and chemical tasting from the disks. I spent a bunch on it and gave it away after three tries, I sure there are some good ones but that is not one of them, maybe one that uses real wood and not processed disks, good luck, Ray

I got a Redi-Smoke for when I dont have time to tend the wood/charcoal grill. It really is a set and forget and the meat comes out GREAT. They got bought out and they're now Old Smokey electric. I really like mine.

As mentioned earlier, the Cook Shack is hard to beat.
Check it out.
