Was reading on another web site, smoking chicken I guess it was, but I never heard of using "cottonwood" for doing anything!! Have U?? Used it??

I haven't ever heard of using it to cook with, there is plenty of it beside the streets on north side of houston.

Reminds me of a review of a Texan who traveled the USA sampling the regional styles of BBQ. The worst....."Cob Smoked", awful stuff. Iowa or somewhere like that.
