What do y'all recommend on a pop up bow stand? Gonna get back to bow hunting and never had one.
Thanks,
Rick

Look at the Ameristep pop ups. I got the Intimidator, 360 degree shooting windows make it very nice and it was less than my buddy's Double Bull, )same size and similar construction). Only time will tell if his money was well spent versus mine.

Good Luck

the ameristep brickhouse is a really good one, especially for the money. You can spend double the $ on the other brands, but if you take care of these, you will be very pleased.

Get one with plenty of room..IMO.. you can't have to much room but you can certainly not have enough....Two people can sit in mine with plenty of room and I've had deer all over me.. I have an Ameristep as well but don't remember the model...Look at the meterial some of them them are kinda shiney...Walker

The bigger Easton blind isn't bad for the money. You can get it at academy.

Glad you started this thread. I am also looking for a blind and what I have been told by several people is that if you are hunting by yourself that the "best blind for your buck" is the DogHouse. People have said that it is difficult to take down but once you get the hang of it, there is no problem. Some of these blinds can get up there in price so I guess its like anything else.... How much are you wanting to spend.

I have been looking at the Brick House. That one looks pretty good.....

I have two double bull blinds, love them. They are very well built and worth the money.

Bass Pro has their GroundMax Escape Deluxe on sale right now for $119 (Regular $149).

We've got a few on our ranch now, and so far I really like them. Especially for the price.

The thing you need to make sure of, is that you have plenty of room to draw your bow.

Double Bulls are very good of course, but also expensive.

I second Palerider's suggestion of GroundMax. I have bought 3 of these and they are roomy and work well. Not perfect mind you, but well worth the money. I would rather have three of these set up than one double bull, for more places to hunt.

Plus, sometimes when you leave blinds out...stuff happens to them. Cows, big storms, thieves (I had one stolen)....losing something always sucks, but 130 sucks way less than 400.

Does that Ground Max have a floor?--Or any picture of them--I need to get one also.

Does that Ground Max have a floor?--Or any picture of them--I need to get one also.I don't think it does but I'm not sure you'd want one. I typically clear out the floor area of where I put my pop-up only leaving dirt and grass. Taking out the leaves and sticks makes a big difference. Last year I experimented with how much movement and noise I could make in the pop-up and I was amazed.

I have a Ground Max blind too and for the price I think they're great. If I could do it all over again I'd buy the one from Cabelas because of the Predator camo pattern. Looks great when it's brushed it. I think I posted a link for them up above.

Yep, ground blinds with floors can be very noisy. Plus bugs and other slimy creatures like to make their home under the flooring.

Does that Ground Max have a floor?--Or any picture of them--I need to get one also.No it does not. What the other guys have said is absolutely correct. Floors are noisy (at least the ones I've seen). In fact, I have a Ameristep Doghouse TSC that had a floor and I finally cut it out. It was just too noisy for bowhunting.

There are a lot of advantages to being in a ground blind....you can video a lot more easily, you can read a book, you can take snacks/drinks, less mosquitos, you can hunt with more than one person. etc

Looks kinda cool but seems to flap in the breeze more than I'd like. Love the way it sets up in seconds.
