It's all in the sauce. Catsup, Worcestershire Sauce, Lime Juice and Melted Butter or Margerine. Spread it over the bird after about 3/4 done. Makes one big mess but worth it. CF? :bounce:

Sounds great but how much catsup, wor sauce, lime juice, and butter ?

until the catsup starts to get dark after shaking (nothing special). It will loose it's red color to a dark black/red. Add lime juice to your taste and then add 1/4 to 1/2 stick melted butter. I take a new bottle of the family sized catsup and squeeze out 1/4 of it down the sink (did I mention I'm a bachelor?) and then proceed to add to the remaining bottle the wor./lime and butter in deminishing proportions. The bottle will last about 10 BBQ's. Refrigerate after each use.

That brown sugar idea sounds good. I'll try it. Thanks, CF?

The Sauce was an Easter hit!! Added the brown sugar then kicked it up w/ some tabasco. Worked out great on some yard bird and a couple of big ole racks of pork ribs babied all morning long.....
Thanks for the recipe.
