Fishing has been pretty good, nice size fish. Hopefully 100 degree weather will disappear until next year. Fish are mostly in the 10-15 foot depth.

Here are some of the latest trips

Where can I find some of that sureshot punch bait? Have you tried any other type of bait like liver or worms? I was thinking about going to fayette in a week or two just wondering what to use.

DEL, there is a guy that fishes the lake, goes by the handle of "Catfish King", painted on the side of his canoe, he uses almost all worms, told me he catches 10-12 fish everytime he goes out, and he fishes only the cove near the boat ramp. I have tried them all, so far, SurShot has outfished the others for me. I am still trying new things, even after years of fishing, but ShurShot keeps on out producing.

Weldon,

Thanks for posting the picture of Derek. He feels like a celebrity with his picture on the internet! We had a great time. Hopefully we can find the time in the fall when it cools down to do some Somerville fishing.

I wish I had gotten pictures of the other boys also, they headed to the swimming hole so quick when we got to shore that I did not get to get a picture before cleaning the fish, maybe next trip we will get more pictures. Thanks
Again, also, we boated 60 nice cats yesterday on our trip out.
