I "always" Fish On Friday Night, but Recently I've Choosen To Fish Saturday Night Because Of A Weekend Tourny They've Been Having.there Is Such A Difference Between The Two Nights.there's Just To Much Traffic And Riff-raff On The Water. I've Gotten Use To Being Out There Almost To Myself And It Just Don't Happen On A Saturday . I Can Go Up The River On Fri. And See Maybe 4 Or 5 Boats ,yeah , I'm Just A Big-o Spoiled Baby. I Took My 7 Year Old Son Lastnight ( A Fathers Day Thing) We Had Fun But It Would've Been More Pleasent If We Had Just Been Fishing. The Fish We Were Catching Was Fun To Catch ,but They Wasn't Tournament Size Fish.. As Of Lastnight I'm Returning To My Old Ways, because (friday Night Is Truly Fish Night)i Wish All You Dads, Fathers,papas,grand-dads,pops,and Friends A Happy Fathers Day........... P.s This Is A Great Place To Vent ,,,huh.

Hey man,What's up?Them tounament deals leave me thinkin' too much about what everybody else is doin' instead of of what I'm doin'...not very relaxin'.Speakin' of which...
Went juggin' Thursday and Saturday nights. My buddy brought his child along(without asking or even mentioning it)both nights. This wouldn't have been a bad thing(except boat room)except this kid acted like he had attention deficet disorder or was deaf or something.Let me state here that I'm a big fan of take a kid fishing.Very much so.This boy is 13 yo and acted about 5...both nights.Ain't gonna say how my dad would have handled this...;) .
But...to get to the fishin'...had adecent night thursday.Caught 2 that went 15 lbs. and about a dozen between 3-8 lbs.
Saturday night,we snagged 22 between 3-8 lbs.,a 16,and one that was just under 30 lbs.(best so far this season). The cool part was he was hooked by a 8/0 in the tail.THAT WASFUN ON A JUG!! Lookin' forward to next weekend already!

Mudhole Kid-
Dude...I'm real sure your son is a fine young man and as he grows he will gain confidence in himself and explorin' the outdoors.
A buddy of mine went to a family reunion in Sw Ga. a few days ago.I asked him how Santee looked as he passed over it.He said that he didn't look alot, but, that Lake Hartwell was a very deep green/blue color. That come from it's depth? He was on the I-85 overpass.Also...Is that a SC game law(no jugs)?

the reason of the green color has been lack of rain .(water temp was 89.7 sat., no joke)the rains finally came this week, so i'm sure the water will stain a little now.yeah that's dnrs law buddy.the only devices allowed are ( 5 traps and trotlines up tp 150 hooks).i think thats thr law for keowee, hartwell, russell and clarks hill.greenwood will allow 50 jugs.theres one clause in the regulations book about the area above the railroad track in clemson, but i dont jug or trotline so i've never presued to find out more info on that section.i'm planning a trip up to keowee friday night behind jocassee dam.i've never heard of anybody catching cats up there so that's why i'm going. makes all the sense huh.lol.can't be no slower,at lease the mountians will be a better view
