I put out 11 floating jugs and fished them for a while with slow action so I struck out across the lake to the island and then a couple of other spots with no white bass to be found.
I went back to the jugs and most were popped up so I got 3 nice ones a couple of throwbacks and baited up again. I caught 2 more, one about 4lbs and called it quits.
I will head back out Saturday to fish with my friends out of Browders in the morning and then head for Sabine Pass That evening for an over night bay trip.
The question is,... where are the white bass?

hey shad had a friend that found the white bass in 9 ft around pine island last weekend.

The whites are everywhere here in TN.Some are 2-3 pounds.The baby threadfins are thick and the whites are stuffing on them.When it gets cold I'll put you on a giant TN river striper.Hope you feel better now that your back on the water.
