View Full Version : Good bite tuesday evening

Went after work tuesday and the bite was good with overcast skies, My son catches a 6# and then he gets a 14# beauty. Ended up with 3 good fish in about 2 hours using live shad. These yellow cats are addictive.

Them pictures remind me of a friend that told me he caught a 22 # yellow cat in his garden lol awesome going on the catfish

Great catfish action, those cats can really look different, some motteld yellow and the other spotted grey. Y'all about due a fry to make room aint ya?LOL.

Hey Snapper,
Are you catching those fish in the day time. I can catch a few at night here in central TX, but have not been able to get them to bite diring the day.

We have been fishing in the evening and quiting at dark, the best bite has been about 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on the last 3 trips?

Have not been able to go this year. Last year, we caughts some good yellows in the day time with live perch on drop lines in the Colorado. We caught a couple in the 30-35 pound range. It was not uncommon to have five or six yellows in the day running from 6-10 pounds. You just have to be were they live and have the right bait.
