has anyone heard of something that you can soak your hooks in so you dont have to bait hooks?

I have a friend that soaks his hook in something. I have no idea what it is and will not tell anyone. He has been killing the catfish on the river with them.

Never heard of that. Have you actually seen this being done? Sounds like your friend is pulling your leg

I wouldn't put my hope on it. I think some times they might hit the flash of a shining hook. Bait them up!
