Quick Trip to Fayette..

with my new fishing partner(8 yrs old). We left kinda late (6:30) so as not to wear him out. Between 8 and 11:30 picked up about 18 cats...all nice with 3 that were 24", in 12' to 18' feet of water around the trees. Danny King...was the bait of choice...although he might be related to Palerider or McBuck....he wouldn't hand mold the stuff on the hook!! LOL I had to bait the hook for him. Great day...cloud cover til about 10 AM so not too hot.

I am glad you guys had a great trip! It sounds and looks like you have an awesome fishing partner. I am sure that he will become a great fisherman since he is already showing his intelligence by not molding the bait on his hook with his hands. This will also allow him to get more and better quality dates when he comes of age! :D

I will see if the Pale One will make him one of his super duper customer hook dippers so that he can bait up like the pros!
