Today I had a trip with three great guys to be on the water with, and good fishermen to boot. Ronny, Bruce, and James of Houston, all 2COOL folks that frequent this site. We eneded up with 49 nice channel cats to 4.22#. They had about 27# of filllets to take home. Little windy, fish were in 10-16 foot water, all caught on SureShot punch bait.

Way to go guys. Nice Day out.

Good catch!!! Guess they are still on pretty good. I am planning on taking my family fishing Sunday, don't know if we are going to Gibbons or Somerville??? Went to Gibbons 2 weeks ago, caught 15 or so, pretty tough, very little breeze??? I would have to guess Somerville would be better, will have to see how much time we have, takes about twice as long to get to Birch??? Oh, by the way, I turned my brother and his wife on to Sure Shot, they bought a case!!! Thanks!!!

Nice job Weldon i should be out there tomorow OLD PARK is having the perch jerk and fish fry all ways a good time and good food.Every one is invited so if any 2cools are out there stop by and say hi.

Weldon, thanks for a great trip. We all enjoyed the trip and look forward to fishing with you again. I'll give your recipes a shot cause as you know I have alot of fish to cook. thanks again...
