took my nephew to conroe today to try for some cats and bream. The cats weren't biting but the hybrids made up for them. I caught 4 there at the bank of walden on live shad early and then the bite died. No cats, no more hybrids, and for some reason absolutely no bream????????? Anyway my nephew loved watching me catch those fish and I let him reel 2 of them in (with a little help). Headed to the north end of the lake to the park to try to get him on the bream but still nothing. Don't know what the problem was but I tried everything they just had lockjaw. Anyway decided to call it a day and after he woke from his nap he wouldn't stop asking when we were going again. Take a kid fishing you will love it!!!!!
