Electric Off-Road??

I am looking into getting an off-road electric truck. I have looked at the HPI E-Savage and the Traxxas Stampede VXL. Can some of you guys help me determine the main differences between these two? Also if you know of anyone who has a good fast truck for sale let me know. I'm open for any other suggestions on trucks as well. It will mainly be used for driving in fields and just messing around.
