Cedar Creek Lake night blue cat fishing

Saturday night, June 21 from 8 PM-11 PM. Janice and fished the North end in 4' of water and managed 30 blues the largest was this 18.5#. We lost an 8-10# right at the boat.

6-24 32 blues to 10.5#. The lake turned very ruff and it took us an hour to get off so I cleaned the fish this AM.

The 32 fish made 20# of fillets

July 2 this 11# blue was the best of the lot.

Mr Albert Green of Rock Springs, TX along with his granddaughter Brionna Smith of Amarillo and grandson Coe D.C. Wall of DeSoto put in a 1/2 night trip of blue cat fishing.
Brionna twelve soon to be a teenager landed the largest fish and her biggest fish ever.

but Coe double dot, ten yrs. old caught the most and provided non stop chin music.

Lots of short runs and bites, we missed more fish than was caught. A nice heavy stringer and a very comfortable cool night of fishing.

Mr Jamie Dixon, Mark&Debbie Bird, from Possum Kingdom, put in an evening/night fishing(6 PM-11:30) last night on Cedar Creek. They caught a total of 18 blues and had a blast. Each catching personal best. All blues caught on rod&reel using cut shad in 3.5' of water or less.
