Went Thur. and the day started off slow trying to catch bait.When that was done we drifted and boated some small stripers and 2 blues in the teens.The last hour of day light we fished the eddies coming of the generation wall and the striper bite was amazing.We stayed doubled up most of the time.Most were between 15-20 pounds.I kept 1 that was a hair over 20 and released the rest.My partner caught a 7.2 pound largemouth bass off live shad.It was another beautiful afternoon watching the sun set behind the mountains on the TN river.If any of you Texans make it to TN we have great fishing for stripers and cats.The cats on the TN river average 20 pounds.We caught one a few weeks ago that pegged my 50 pound digital scale so I dont know what he weighed but he was a monster.We also caught a few drum that were big as your leg but they are a trash fish but still fun to catch.Tight lines to everybody.
