I got to go fishing w/dad today from the bank at lake Whitney. Beautiful water, gin clear. Dad had one good fish on but it pulled too much slack from the drag and hung him up on the rocks & broke off. Que lastima! We had maybe 3 other bites between us the whole morning. Dang it was nice to wet a line again, maybe go again tomorrow.
BTW, the white bass schooled for about an hour right in front of us 200 yards out. It was a big school about 300 yrads long and 50 yards wide. Dad will not let me get in the boat yet, still have to take it easy, but I sure wanted to be out there slabbing em!

Good thing SS is that you and DAD spent the day together...make mental note on those whites, so when you are better that is place to start at to see if they still around. That time you/dad may be in boat then.

I don't think I could have taken it....i probably would have grabbed my pole and started swimming....i think i could case while floating. good to see you getting around shad
