I had a trip out Sunday with "JerkUgotem" and his family from San Antonio. Nice day on the water and good company. A year ago Zac caught a 2.65# catfish that was a then youth record. Since then others have surpassed that record and the record stood at 4.5# by a little girl who had fished with me named Brooke, from Cypress. Zac reclaimed his record by landing a 4.92# channel on Sunday. Way to go Zac.

That's awesome, Weldon! I have been kind of busy lately and haven't had time to check on the board. I kind of figured it may be too hot to fish Fayette right now. I might have to rethink that....:D

Is jug fishing allowed on Fayette County lake?

Jug fishing is allowed, water temps are running 93-94 degrees, better stay with your jugs or end up with dead fish.
