A couple of rough days this year again for the DSR, However the fishing was great! Day 1 nice catch limits on Snap, a couple of Ling, 1 small grouper, not any thing that was going to stay on the board.
Day 2 headed south out of Port A, started out late weather forecast was showing 4-6's, we were greeted with nice 3's. Alot of fish in the boat again but now trophies, last stop in decided to hit a small standpipe rig, 3:15pm 1st fish on my buddy on board fishing with live pin perch hooks a big one. When he got the fish to the surface we knew it was a contender!
At weigh-in get it to the scales fish 18lbs 9oz! 2oz ahead of the current first place snapper!
Our largest snapper caught on our boat yet!
