Jigs for catfish

I went to a little pond at night about 9:30 and i threw my line in the water and i had a tube jig on my hook and i was playing with it and bam in about 10 min i had a catfish. then i threw my line back in the same spot and caught a 6lb bass my biggest bass in that pond.

I've even caught catfish on spinnerbaits in ponds...you just never know...

catfish are still predator fish and routinely chase baitfish and crawfish. so hitting a jig shouldn't be a surprise.
