I grew up fishing livingston, but recently have started fishing conroe. Can anyone tell me how deep you are usually setting your juglines and im assuming in or near the river channel, but any help would be appreciated.

Hey, I appreciate the reply Headshaker. Im wanting to go get some of those big blues. Im probally going up there this weekend to fish for bass in the morning and hybrids in the afternoon but it never hurts to throw a few juglines out. Thanks again

If you have a depth finder then look for areas with structure on the bottom and/or dropoffs. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I've caught a lot of blues near the bentwater island. Most come from the east side of that small cove. It is only 5-15 ft. Also good bassfising next to the gold course in the 3-5 ft water.
