West Bay Thur/Fri

Hit West Bay thursday and friday. Thursday, wind 10-15 SE, water good, Friday wind 10-20, water starting to sand up. On the water at 6:30am, off the water at 11:00 am. Chased birds north and south of causeway, used shrimp un der corks, in 4-6 feet of water. Birds would not hold long, trout came one here one there. Lots of schoolies, sandies, and gafftop mixed in. Same patterns both days. Went south of causeway and chased a mixed bag of gulls and pelicans. Came away with 11 trout to 3 pounds on thurs. and 5 trout to 3 pounds on friday.

Heard a little rumor that the jetties are getting hot, can anyone confirm?

the trout are in the surf and the rocks are in the surf so the trout are at the jettys.

Thanks, haven't been to the jetties in a couple of years, but plan on getting there asap. If this darn wind will lay down.
