Heck yeah dbullard, I'm getting used to seeing killer reports from your jugging expeditions. Fine mess of cats, still using beef hearts?

Hey SS it is getting close to the big blow out!!!
We caught some on beef hearts I think we may have had a couple on beef kidney
we had deer liver on some but I couldn't tell you what caught what.we need to start keeping a log book.
We did bait the free floaters with cut shad. The late afternoon and early morning bite was the best. The night bite was slow but I did notice the moon coming up early morning.

dbullard, i'm getting things lined up for Saturday and it is looking like a great time! I saw whitebassfisher on the lake sunday and he and hid wife will be coming, the live music is booked and I'm working on the Shiner Bock & crawfish today. Do you know of a better price than $1.50 for crawfish?

do those beef hearts stay on the hook good? I been using partially microwaved beef liver (stays on the hook good) and it seems to be working okay

SS I don't know of any I will check around.
Steve the beef hearts stay on the hook real well.Cut them into about an inch square and put them in a zip like with garlic powder or I have found out that they may a garlic juice.

Bowhntr I fish north of 190 around Waterwood the free floating jugs we drop close to one side of the cove and let the wind take them across. We anchored some jugs along the river channel in 15-20 feet I try to put them on drop offs and creek channels.

oh I see I haven't been invited to the party. I am sure I could have brought something. If anything an empty plate.
I see you slime on the line...better leave some for me. Actually, I haven't been able to get past the white bass to do any catfishing.
And where are you fishing at. Myself I ve been in the middle of the lake here lately. Walker's lake and 190 road bed.

BEC if it was me I would just crash the party!!LOL
I have been staying North of 190 but when it starts getting hot and if the wind will ever lay I may make a run and anchor up to one of the old bridges.

yea shad sent me a map. I feel much better now. But I probably opened my mouth to soon. I was going to stay in Houston this weekend to tend to business. But who knows I might crash the party. Give me an excuse to go to the lake. I know them white bass are still going. And thats where you ll find them on them old bridges. I was thinking you where down around pineland for some reason. I want to do some catfishing around walker's lake. Back in the day, me and dad use to go out there and tie off to a tree stump and wear out big catfish. In fact, I know the cats still hang out there. but I need to bait a hole.
If i get a chance I would like to meet some of y'all on the board and tell lies. Eat some crawfish and tell some more lies. Gotta run.

Point Blank anchored to the bridge cast out over the other side let the line go to the bottom and bring it up about 3 cranks off the bottom.Use 20-30lbline the guard rail is ruff on the line.I lost one of my bridge anchors so I need to make a new one.
