I just tried a new recipe that I made up myself. I took a tub of chicken livers and added 2 packs of raspberry koolade and 2 cloves of garlic and put it all into a blender. Pureed it, let it sit in the sun for a few hours and mixed it with crushed up cornflakes. They were biting it as well as the best commercial dough bait out there. A little bit of the puree makes a lot of dough bait. I also added a little bit of big red to it but you can leave it out. It don't cost much to make and lasts longer than other baits I have purchased.

Cough bait?? Does it make them cough or help with their cough? :D

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Sounds very similar to some of the old carp baits to. Have you ever caught carp on it?

Sorry I never noticed the typo. And no I have never caught carp on it. You can substitute the corn flakes for flour but I find the cornflakes make it stickier and hold on the hook better and longer.

if you look over where the shake and bake type stuff is , you can buy kellogs cornflake crumbs way cheaper than by the ceareal box and they are ready to go.

try it on fried fish too

Corn Flakes make excellent fish coating. We actually were a little short one day and added some Frosted Flakes :D Don't knock it until you've tried it. I add them on purpose sometimes now. LOL

I just keep thinking, you say it "doe" with a "d" in front and "cawoff" with a "c" in front? No wonder inglish is hard to learn.

we used to take 40% bran flakes, soak them in water and squeeze the water out into a wet ball of flakes- Then take and add honey and knead the ball so the honey is mixed well.

pinch enough off to make balls about the diameter of a nickle and set in the sun for a little while

great carp bait.
