Brazos / Whitney

Anyone fish much in the Lake Whitney area or Brazos river close? I live in this area and was just wondering. Thanks.

Fish the 8 mile stretch to *****. The hotter it gets the easier it is to find bass. They stay in the shade pockets by the bank. Been catching them on top thoughout the whole day.

My dad lives about 7 miles from the dam and does his walking by the state park or loafers bend. He packs a r&r and often catches good bass on pop rs and white bass/stripers on slabs and pencil poppers from the bank. The golden algee has hurt the cause on that lake the last few years however, maybe this year it wont cause a fish kill.
