Fished the Brazos river on the rise yesterday and cought a limit of yellows on live shad, perch and goldfish.

I just crossed it north of rosenberg about an hour ago nice muddy big rise, but no more trash so it will prob fall pretty fast. gonna hit it tonight w a few throw lines

Oh yes! and there was trash. I saw from soda cans, refrigerators and coolers to pigs floating. "Quit Messing with Texas"

i put a few lines out yesterday evening. didn't catch anything. i was pretty far down the river.

I read they released a bunch of water from the dam which made it rise 12 feet.

I crossed it a few hours ago and it seems to have dropped about 6 ft. Of course i'm just judging by the water line I can see. I'm also in Sugar land. I hope to see it like I did last summer. The river had a nice green tint and was barely moving. I'm ready to put the kayak in and go find some holes.

I also live in Suagr land and would love to hit the river in the YAK! I just moved here less than a year ago and I have no idea where you could even put in with a yak. I would also be interested in knowing where some spots are around the area to do some night fishing.
