15,400 cfs, that's a lot of water, take heavy sinkers!

Rablo, next time you might try larger pieces of bait, like two small shad, or 3 heads from small shad. The best is some cut buffalo/carp, or mullet (catch mullet in the spillway channel clsoe to the bank by tree limbs) you can catch them in a cast net up by the restricting line. Any bait fish that you can cut up into 2" squares are good for bigger cats. Also anchor as close to the line as you can and in the swiftest water that you can hold anchor. These are good tips for bigger cats below the dam, but hey, sometimes it's just small ones unless you want to cast a long rod up to the rocks, there are always big blues up there.
