Caught these on limb lines using live perch.

They were close to frozen solid. We had them on ice.

same as a jug line, but on a limb.....

Nice ops! Those that size are very good eating fish. The Brazos has a lot of them. I used to run limb lines on family reunions on the Brazos baiting with live perch that us little kids caught, it made us feel like we were part of the action catching bait all day with hand lines and grasshoppers.

How can the guy on the right be holding two fish by the head and mouth with only one hand and the fish are still sticking straight out to the side. They look like mounted or plastic fish.

Not our catch of the day either, but it happens. We were fishing a new part of the river (to us), so in due time we will find the big ones!
