Mike,

Real Simple:

1. Season the roast with salt & pepper or season salt.

2. Add 2 cans of Campbell's tomato soup to the crock pot.

3. Put the roast in the crock pot and cook it on low for 4-5 hours or until the meat is tender.

4. When the roast is done, remove the liquid in the crock pot and reserve for gravy.

5. In an iron skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on medium high until hot. Add 1-2 tablespoons of flour and whisk with spatula or egg beater. Cook it just until it starts to turn a golden brown about 3 minutes. Keep strirring and do not let it burn. Add the liquid from the crock pot to the roux and stir until desired thickness.

6. Cook some rice, cornbread, smothered okra and butter beans.

7. Call your girlfriend to come eat with you!

CAUTION - After eating this meal, your girlfriend may propose to you!

Get a big pot roast and put it in an iron skillet. Add some cut up baking potatoes, a few whole carrots and a couple stalks of celery. Add a cup of water to the pot, then pour a package of Dry Onion Soup mix on top of the pot roast. COVER the skillet with a lid or improvise one from foil and put it in the oven at 325 degrees. Come back in 4 hours and eat.
