went to fayette with the wife(first time to fish with me). fished mostly with waterdogs. caught 3 bass, a cat, and hooked two alligator gar(wouldn't leave the dogs alone). my wife caught two of the bass and not only were they both bigger than mine they were the fist fish she had ever caught. she had a blast and i'm sure she will be joining me on the water again.

Those are a special catfish called largemouth catfish....very nice for a bass even for or a catfish. Looks like a successful trip. Nice weather good company, what more could you ask for

It's a good bass lake (to say the least), especially for bass about that size. Fun to find them schooling in the summer.
