I had my open water check-out this last weekend. Everything went good becided that having a little trouble clearing a full flooded mask due to having a little sinus problem. Now tonight I get my picture taken for my card and get the offical seal on my dive log. Now I am ready to get a little underwater time before I hit the big water.

I have my card last Friday so now I am offically SSI OW cert. I am now ready to get a few dives under my belt and in a few months I hope to try a few rig dives. Last night I took a Stress and Rescue course so hopefully I will feel a little more comfortable in the water. I am going up to Blue Lagoon in a few weeks for the water part of the Rescue course.

Just A Thought For You, For Your First Salt Water Dive I Would Fly Down To Cozumel Because The Diving There Is A Little Easier Than Going Out In The Gulf. Its Mainly Drift Diving, And Its Awsome You Just Go With The Flow. To Me, For The Price And The Water Quality (100' + All Year Long And The Boat Rides Are Short To Each Spot. If You Interested I Know A Guy And Place.
