any idea what the rod weighs?....that is one fine rod...a 50, or 100 mg would do it more justice..

lighter than most, but exact weight (dond kno)

Blank is a cheepo popping rod 39.99 I found at cut throat and the guides are http://shop.mudhole.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.152/it.A/id.1015/.f
from mud hole triple and double footed

I dont see how anyone can make money building rods, but Ill never buy another built rod.

OK....will you build me one...with a Rebel flag wrap?...I have a 150.00 G.Loomis blank...picked it up today....and I amm not in any hurry....I just don't want to pay the crazy amount of money some of the area rod builder ask...but, I will make it worth your while

I am sure it takes a very long time to complete one of those

I have been thinking bout seeling all my rods and putting a simple one together
Nothing that extravegant because i am a begginer

Hey Mark, I used the GCBV guides on the spinning rod I built. I was afraid I'd tear em up or off, but they held up perfectly using 40 lb power pro and the fish burning offf 300 yds of line. I'll use em again. Jerry
