Boudeaux & Thibadoux

Boudreaux gets a new boat motor for Christmas and so he tells Thibadoux to take a ride with him to try it out. So like any good friend would do Thibadoux loads up and they head off to the lake. They put the boat in the water and Boudeaux and Thibadoux load up in the boat. Boudreaux begins to pulls the pull rope to start the new motor and the motor falls off of the boat. Boudreaux immediatly tells Thibadoux he is going in after it. Thibadoux is looking at his watch as 4 minutes have gone by and he is worried about his buddy. Thibadoux bends over to put his head in the water and look for Boudreaux and about that time Boudreaux comes up gaspping for air and tells Thibadoux he almost got it, and goes back down once more. Well about 6 mintues go by now and Thibadoux is really getting worried about his buddy and bends back down to put his head in the water and look for Boudreaux, and about that time up comes Boudreauxout of the water. Boudreaux tells Thibadoux i need one more time and i will get, i am close. Well Thibadoux couldnt help but to look in the water this time and he saw Boudreaux pulling on the pull rope trying to start the motor. Thibadoux pulls his head out of the water and says to him self he is an "idiot" so then Thibadoux puts head back in the water and tells Boudreaux you have to choke it first dummy....

Boudreaux and Thibadoux are fishing buddies. Dey go fishin all da time togetha. But Boudreaux finds him a girl an ends up married. He tells Thibadoux, "Thibadoux, Im gwan to take my new wife a fishin." So Thibadoux stays home one day. Long bout 4:00 in the afternoon, while Thibadoux is just sittin in the house, Boudreaux comes pounding on the door. Thibadoux runs to the door and opens it to find Boudreaux crying and in a panic.
"Thibadoux", Boudreaux cries, "my new wife, she done fell in the watah down in the bayou and drowned. I look and look an I caint find her nowhere. She drown, and I caint find her. Im cryin so hard I caint see nothin, can you go and look for her?"

"I'll go an fine her for you." says Thibadoux and off he goes, leaving Boudreaux crying, sitting on the porch.

A couple of hours later, Thibadoux shows back up. "Well, I foun her for you. She was layin down under some reeds in tha swamp."

"Well, where she is?" asked Boudreaux, seeing that Thibadoux hadn't brought back a body.

"When I pulled her up," replied Thibadoux, " she had 9 blue crab on her, Im gonna run her again tomorrah!"

Boudreaux and Thibadoux went to the bar together every Friday night. Thibadoux noticed that Boudreaux began to have a drinkin problem. Not only would he get drunk on Friday night, so drunk he couldn't fish Saturday, but he began getting drunk a lot of other nights of the week too.

So Thibadoux decided he had to do something to help his friend straighten up. Walking by the graveyard, he noticed that a grave had been opened for a funeral later that week. Looking at the grave, he hatched a plan.

That night, he and Boudroux went to the bar. Sho nuff, Boudroux got falling down drunk. Thibadoux grabbed Boudroux arm and slung it around himself and said, "Boudroux, you drunk, Im gonna walk you home an put you in da bed." Boudroux let himself be walked down the road an toward home. But Thibadoux didn't walk him home, he took him to the graveyard, and put him in the open grave. Boudroux went to sleep immediately. Thibadoux walked home snickering to himself, "Boy, when he wake up in da mornin, he gonna be so skeered that he wont never drink no mo."

Sho nuff, the next morning, as the sun was coming up, Boudroux woke up in the grave. He looked up and the sky and began wondering where he was. He stood up and looked out and he was in the grave yard! He looked around and said, "Holy Moses, resurrection mornin an Im tha first one up!"
