tried it on a brisket and didn't really like it as much as fiesta's brisket rub.

but, brushed oil on some pork chops, then rubbed in grub rub let sit for 20 minutes and then throw in skillet on medium heat about 8 minutes per side(til outside starts to brown). the whole family wants me to do it again tonight.

Drunk chicken rocks with grub rub! Don't forget the beer! I put the rub on the night before I smoke the whole chicken. Slow smoke it! It's a hit with the kids.

I'm going to slow smoke two briskets tonight. This time around I'm going to try and mop it. Wish me luck! I'm a novice.. this is my first brisket in my new pitt w/ a fire box. I always just pan(water) smoked it in my old barrel pitt.

boat $, did you add anything else to the briskets? I like to add some garlic, onions and whole mushrooms (for grillen later) to the meat while I let it sit over night in the fridge.
