Something to look forward to?

I wonder if there will be a Tarpon Tournament this year? It has always been such a fun event. Hopefully Mr Leavelle will continue it even though he is out of the business.

I have spoken to Jim about the Tarpon Pro Am and its future since he has moved to Corpus and taken a real job. He is very hopeful that somebody will take up the cause and continue what has become a great tournament for all of those involved. We can hope the Silver King boys or maybe other of the high profile guides in the area get behind the effort as they have always been big participants in the tournament. My worry is that none of them may have the support of the great sponsors Jim collected to contribute to the prizes and all the other expenses involved in putting on such an event.
