What kind of epoxy were you using mando?... if you were using flexcoat... 50 min is nothing for flexcoat lol .... it needs to turn for like 4 hours to get a nice even finish because it drys so slow.... i use devcon... i turn them for 46 minutes and then there good to go.... now fishing it..... well you could try putting another coat to even it out... but that will take alot of work.... what i would do is just take the epoxy of carefully...... use a butane lighter and heat up the epoxy till it cracks and gets soft.... just make a line going up the butt wrap like that .... then start peeling it away.

oh yeah what u can do for drying it also is use a drill if u have one.... i just made my own little homemade device to hold the rod..... just got a small piece of 1"x4" wood .... and epoxied a rag to the center of it..... i just place a zip tie over ther rag and the butt wrap to hold the rod..... and another zip tie to regulate the speed of the drill pretty slow... somewhere between 10-20 rpm.

if you search the web you can buy just the motor and other supplies to build a drying motor ....with out having to purchase a complete setup !!!

You can sand down the sag, be careful not to get in to the wrap. Wipe down the butt wrap when you have the sag removed and re apply a second coat. This is time consuming but better than starting over.
Good luck,
