fried up the last batch of fayette kitties last night , time to go again.

anyone ever figure out why they all are about the same size ????

look at all the pics....interesting

Coastal- channels are predominately "social" fish, no kidding, this means that they school in class size, weight, length etc... blues and yellows except during spawning will either be solo or a mixed bag.

i never caught a cat there over 4-5 lbs anyone have ??? blues or channels?

I caught a 17lb cat out of there about 2 yrs on a jigging spoon on a deep hump jigging for bass.

Now just fishing for em, they are all just about the same size for some reason. BUT they sure do eat good.

i'm for sure not complaining, they are perfect size, just an odd fact....

I've caught one in the 7lb range. What I find more interesting is that I have NEVER caught an undersize fish. I have caught hundreds of fish out of there now without one throwback due to size. I have thrown some back that were skinny, but never one that was too short. Every other place I fish, we always catch a few dinks, but not at Fayette. It's the darndest thing...
